Job Description & RequirementsWCS Healthcare is currently seeking a L&D Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Albany, NY. The weekly pay for this position is $2,400 a week.
Job Function:
\nMonitor the mother’s vital signs, fetal heart rate, and overall labor progress, documenting all findings accurately.
\nAdminister medications, IV fluids, and epidurals as ordered, and provide pain management support.
\nAssist physicians or midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.
\nEducate and support patients and families throughout the labor, birth, and recovery process.
\nRespond to obstetric emergencies and implement appropriate interventions to ensure the safety of both mother and baby.
