\n\nSchedule\n

8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including weekday and weekend call rotations, and holiday coverage as needed.

\n\nJob Description\n

The Surgical Assistant will play a crucial role in the operating room, assisting with a variety of surgical cases, with a focus on orthopedic and neuro procedures.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Assist in surgical procedures as required, with a primary focus on orthopedics.
\n
• Ensure efficient turnover of operating room suites.
\n
• Participate in weekend and weeknight call rotations, responding within a 20-minute timeframe.
\n
• Float to outpatient surgery as needed.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in surgical assistance is required.
\n
• 2-3 previous travel assignments preferred.
\n
• Certifications: BLS, CST via NCCSA, CSFA via NBSTSA.
\n
• Must have experience with orthopedic procedures.
\n
