Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN with at least one year of experience and required certifications for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Operating Room department
• Day shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week (6:45 am to 5:15 pm)
• Weekend call and late weekday shifts required
• 13-week assignment
• Uses EPIC charting system (experience preferred)
• Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• Up to 3 days of requested time off (RTO) may be auto-approved with no RTO allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year Operating Room RN experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Former permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
