Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for an 11A-11:30P shift requiring EPIC experience and strict licensing and certification standards.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Operating Room setting
• Shift is 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Care for surgical patients in a dynamic perioperative environment
• EPIC EMR experience is required
• Competency testing required with up to 2 attempts to pass
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• More than 3 call outs in a 13 week period may result in contract termination; make up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
• RTO must be requested with submission
• No local candidates residing in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties within a 50 mile radius
• Cannot submit as a travel pair and may apply to one position only
• No exceptions for personal or religious flu vaccine declinations

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Experience working with EPIC EMR required
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Flu vaccination required with only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional accepted
