Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room night shift position requiring Level 1 trauma experience and an active MO or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in the hospital Operating Room
• Night shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 20:30-07:00, with four 10-hour shifts per week
• Level 1 trauma unit environment
• Float to other areas within the facility, including assignments as Patient Observer (sitter), may be required
• On-call and holiday coverage are required as part of the rotation
• Must be able to work the week of Christmas
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required
• Travelers may float to other assignments such as Patient Observer as needed
• Must be willing to work at least 50% of assigned holidays and weekends per contract
• Locals within a 75-mile radius are accepted at adjusted rates
• Completion of non-billable modules during orientation and annually is required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience with at least 1 year in the Operating Room specialty
• Level 1 trauma OR experience required
• Two professional references from a charge nurse or higher must be provided
• Must be able to float to all units as needed
