Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Traveling Medical Assistant to join our team, supporting clinics in Gillette and Sheridan, WY. This role requires driving between the two cities 2–3 times per week to provide clinical support and ensure seamless patient care. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable with travel in varying conditions. Mileage is reimbursed, and travel time is compensated.

Compensation & Benefits:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical support and assist healthcare providers in patient care at both Gillette and Sheridan locations.

Prepare patients for examinations, collect vital signs, and assist with procedures as needed.

Manage patient documentation, updates, and follow-ups to ensure accurate medical records.

Coordinate with administrative and clinical staff to maintain efficient clinic operations.

Drive between clinic locations safely, adjusting schedules as needed due to weather or safety concerns.

Utilize an at-home administrative day each week to complete paperwork, catch up on tasks, and support clinic operations remotely.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.

Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred but not required.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required; ability to travel between locations 2–3 times per week.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
