Ready to suit up as a Unarmed - Tactical Security Officer

 

• Site Location: Portland, Oregon
• Set schedule: Full-time, Sunday thru Wednesday, 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Graveyard, 40 Hours
• Set schedule: Full-time, Thursday thru Monday, 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Graveyard, 40 Hours
• Set schedule: Full-time, Tuesday thru Saturday, 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Graveyard, 40 Hours
• Competitive hourly wage of $22.50 / Hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

• Sit at Security Desk in a large open lobby
• Answer questions
• Give directions
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity; interior & exterior
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• A lot of walking
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have at least 1 year of Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience 
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must be 21, or older
