Job Summary: The Valet Parking Attendant will welcome guests and park and retrieve guests' vehicles safely. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties & Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests to the hotel and offer professional services. Accommodate guests by opening all doors and assisting with luggage or other items. Direct traffic in the parking area as needed. Operate guests' vehicles safely. Keep an organized record of tickets and keys assigned to each vehicle/guest. Ensure vehicles are parked safely and securely. Inspect vehicles upon arrival for existing damage and document as necessary. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies, services and resolve occupants' complaints. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills & Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Exceptional driving skills when transporting guests' vehicles to secure parking location. Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions. Adapts to varying weather conditions, traffic patterns, and customer demands. Can quickly adjust to changes in work schedules or tasks. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in relevant field is strongly preferred. Proven safe driver, with a clean driving record. Must have a valid and up-to-date driver's license. Physical Requirements: Physically able to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift and move luggage weighing up to 60 pounds. Moves to, from, and throughout the parking lot.
