This position serves as the field team lead and provides functional direction to field staff and is the primary point of escalation for customer, vet, or store partner issues. It also involves driving company vehicles to vaccination clinics and overseeing the performance and operational compliance of the clinics. Essential Job Functions: Provide functional direction and supervision to the field team. Perform all clinic roles as needed and coach team members. Safely operate company vehicles to and from clinic locations and the office. Lift up to 40 lbs as necessary. Communicate effectively with customers and partners, managing difficult situations and pet incidents. Coordinate with clinic leadership to determine location, crowd management, and resolve issues. Ensure all clinic processes and paperwork are completed accurately. Lead discussions during daily commutes to motivate the team. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Manage revenues and deposits. Assist with paperwork and medical records. Handle pet waste and manage disruptive pets. Offer discounts to improve customer experience. Load and unload equipment and supplies safely. Train new team members. Understand and communicate Vetco medical recommendations. Collaborate with store management for successful clinics. Report on clinic performance and ensure cleanliness and safety at the end of each shift. Escalate issues as needed and complete all documentation accurately. Restock supplies and participate in training sessions. This role reports directly to the Market Manager and provides leadership to the clinic team during shifts. Must be able to perform all clinic roles, operate vehicles, and handle animals comfortably. The work environment is primarily indoors, with travel involved. Petco is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
