Overview Create a healthier, brighter future for pets, pet parents and people. This position leads field teams and provides functional direction to field staff, acting as the primary point of escalation for customer, vet or store partner issues. This role also drives company vehicles to vaccination clinics and is responsible for overall performance and operational compliance of the day\'s clinics. Responsibilities Provide functional direction and supervision to the field team. Effectively perform the functions of all clinic team roles and provide coaching and direction to individuals in these roles where necessary. May be responsible for filling one or more of these roles at a time. Safely operate company supplied vehicle to and from clinic locations and office when assigned as driver. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Communicate effectively with customers and business partners to manage difficult customer situations, including pet incidents (bites, reactions and emergency situations). Primary point of contact for Market Manager on clinic related issues. Collaborate with clinic leadership to determine optimal clinic location, crowd management practices, and address issues that arise during clinic. Ensure all clinic processes are followed and necessary paperwork is completed accurately and completely. Facilitate a sales environment among the team by leading targeted discussion topics during daily commute. Assist with revenues, paperwork for medical records, crowd management, cleaning up after pets, and managing disruptive pets. Offer available discounts to win customers during challenging experiences. Manage loading/unloading of equipment and supplies from the company vehicle in a safe manner. Assist in training new partners according to training plan expectations. Understand and communicate Vetco medical recommendations, booster schedules and products. Communicate with store management to foster cooperation and business success. Present clinic reports to the Manager of On Duty (MOD) at the end of each shift and obtain relevant clinic transaction or movement reports as applicable. Ensure the clinic area is clean and free of trash, sharps, and unused supplies at departure; notify stores if clinic team is running late; reconcile end-of-day equipment and supplies. Escalate clinic issues to the Market Manager, Store Manager, and Vetco Customer Service via incident reporting process. Complete all paperwork and checklists accurately and restock rig supplies and product bins at day end. Participate in company and sponsor-provided training related to products, services, policies and procedures. Complete the Clinic Lead reports for each shift. Qualifications & Experience Must be able to perform all clinic job roles. Outstanding customer service skills, aptitude for basic sales techniques, and an interest in animals; professional appearance and demeanor. Leadership qualities and/or experience; able to operate company vehicles. Effective communication, ability to provide functional direction and leadership to the team; able to resolve difficult situations independently. Direct contact with animals required; comfortable handling and restraining animals within company policy. Existing partners applying must be in good standing. Work Environment Most duties are indoors; passenger vehicle travel required to commute to work locations; overnight travel may be required in some locations. Physical requirements include bending, kneeling, moving equipment up to 40 pounds, and standing for long periods; follow proper procedures to minimize risk of injury.
