Our busy restaurant is looking for servers with a friendly smile and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served timely, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. $15 - $15.50 hourly

• Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations
• Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities
• Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
• Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests

• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
