About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Central and Northern New York Chapter. This role is pivotal in serving as the face of the organization, with a primary focus on external community relations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing sustained community relationships, supporting mission capacity building, and influencing to create an environment of teamwork and inclusion. The Executive Director will also be tasked with managing a chapter board and community volunteer leaders to effectively mobilize support and resources around the organization's mission. The position requires a professional with a four-year college degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 5 years of related experience, and a proven track record in strategic relationship management, fundraising, and community partnership development. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company's Central and Northern New York Chapter should be prepared to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. The role demands a high level of proficiency in communication, influencing, and public speaking, as well as the ability to exercise good judgment in complex situations. The ideal candidate will have a background in business, communications, marketing, public relations, finance, or non-profit administration, and a preference for those with a Master's degree in a related field. Proficiency in MS Office is required, and the ability to work on a team, travel, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record are essential. The Executive Director will be expected to lead the chapter in supporting the achievement of regional revenue targets and meet individual fundraising goals.
