Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy haul trucks ensuring compliant transportation of oversized and overweight loads.
• Plan and execute routes that conform to both state and federal regulations.
• Ensure loads are properly secured for safe transit.
• Conduct routine inspections and regular maintenance on the truck.
• Keep accurate logs and records encompassing cargo details, routes, and hours of service.
• Engage in effective communication with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy haul transportation.
• A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the necessary endorsements.
• Strong understanding of state and federal transportation regulations.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy haul equipment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to be away from home for extended periods, including trips longer than one week.

Preferred Certifications:

• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
• Wind Industry Transportation Professional Advanced Certification (WITPAC)
