*Duties*

- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures.

- Develop and implement treatment plans for a wide variety of cats and dogs.

- Provide preventative care, including vaccinations, parasite control, and nutrition counseling.

- Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results for diagnosis and treatment

- Train and educate pet owners on proper animal care and behavior management

- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with clients

*Experience*

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school

- Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state

- Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and pathology

- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and diagnostic procedures

- Experience in animal husbandry, including nutrition, breeding, and reproduction

- Familiarity with aseptic technique for surgical procedures

- Ability to perform animal catheterization and administer medications

- Knowledge of practice management principles for efficient clinic operations

- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
