WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Bronx, NY

Job Function:

\n

• Evening Shift.
\n
• 4x10: 1pm - 11pm.
\n

• Maintains a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.

  \n
\n

• Performs sponge, needle, and instrument counts before and after surgery in accordance with policy.

  \n
\n

• Prepares patients for surgery as directed by clinical staff.

  \n
\n

• Provides technical support to surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during procedures.

  \n
\n

• Cleans and sterilizes surgical equipment using approved sterilization techniques.

  \n
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.

  \n
\n

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from the NBSTSA.

  \n
\n

• BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association).

  \n
\n

• 1 year of experience as a certified Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting.

  \n
\n
