Job Title : Buyer Associate

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Job Level: 3–5 Years of Experience

Pay Rate: $26.00 – $27.00 per hour (Overtime eligible after 40 hours)

Engagement type : Temp-To-Hire- 1 Year Assignment - Without Sponsorship- Not open for C2C

Job Summary:

This is a 12-month assignment with the potential to transition into a full-time Buyer Associate position. The role will support procurement functions, including purchase order management, vendor coordination, and administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Place purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and perform customer service functions.
• Compile and maintain data and records to prepare purchase orders.
• Contact vendors and suppliers to obtain quotations and maintain ongoing relationships.
• Reconcile payable discrepancies and resolve customer issues.
• Manage freight billing and auditing processes.
• Research specifications for products not clearly identified.
• Enter and modify purchase orders and blanket order releases.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of product file data.

Qualifications:

• 3 -5 Years of relevant experience in Purchasing or Procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Computer Science, or Communications), but not required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) and strong math skills.
• Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines effectively.

Work Schedule & Hybrid Requirements:

• This position is hybrid: candidates are expected to be in the office 3 days per week.
• Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work.
• Future in-office requirements may change and are subject to business needs.
• Flexible day shift hours.
